Four Ohioans who have committed their lives to working in, promoting and advocating for Ohio’s farm community will be honored Friday, August 6, by the Ohio Agricultural Council (OAC), when they are inducted into the Ohio Agricultural Hall of Fame.

OAC is pleased to have Chuck Conner, president & CEO of the National Council of Farmers Cooperatives, and Louie Perry, principal and director of Cornerstone Government Affairs in Washington D.C., to help answer these questions. They will share their post-election outlook for agriculture, for Ohio and for our country.

Each year, the Ohio Agricultural Council offers up to three (3) $1,500 scholarships annually to Ohio high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree in agriculture and up to three (3) $1,500 scholarships to undergraduate college students from Ohio who are currently pursuing a degree in agriculture.

In lieu of an in person event, the Ohio Agricultural Council (OAC) will release the 2020 Hall of Fame inductee videos on August 7 to recognize the four outstanding individuals of the 2020 induction class.

OABA has invited OAC members to join them on Thursday evening, January 30th, for their Annual Industry Reception & Dinner bringing together OAC and OABA members, agribusiness professionals and industry experts. The event will feature keynote speaker (and Ohio Ag Council member) Shirley Brooks-Jones.
