Ohio Ag Council members have been invited to a special opportunity with the Ohio AgriBusiness Association!
OABA has invited OAC members to join them on Thursday evening, January 30th, for their Annual Industry Reception & Dinner bringing together OAC and OABA members, agribusiness professionals and industry experts. The event will feature keynote speaker (and Ohio Ag Council member) Shirley Brooks-Jones.
Reception begins at 5:30 pm and dinner at 6:30 pm at the Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris Hotel. Special pricing for OAC members for the event is $75/person.

Shirley Brooks-Jones’ life was forever changed when her plane was diverted to Newfoundland, Canada on September 11th. She and her fellow passengers experienced the boundless hospitality of the locals, which in turn inspired the passengers to launch a scholarship initiative for the youth of the community. At the conference, Brooks-Jones, retired administrator and fundraiser for The Ohio State University, will share her story and inspire attendees to look for ways to give back to their own communities.
