Wayne E. Brown

Wayne E. Brown is a leader in marketing and promoting of Ohio-produced agricultural products. He has been an innovator of marketing procedures and techniques in the marketing of red meat, poultry, milk and dairy products, fresh vegetables, canned and packaged food.

In 1962, he was the recipient of the “Marketing Man Of The Year Award” for outstanding in innovations in food marketing. He owns and operates a beef farm near Powell, Ohio, where choice beef is produced for market. He has been a loyal supporter of Ohio junior member livestock projects.

Mr. Brown was one of twelve men who provided financial assistance in organizing and setting up the Columbus Youth Foundation. His interest in community betterment includes Ohio University Board of Trustees, Riverside Methodist Hospital Board of Trustees, Columbus and Medical Center Research Foundation, Columbus.
