Virgil Overholt

Virgil Overholt, Franklin County-for 52 years a respected teacher of agricultural engineering at Ohio State University and consultant to drainage experts in Ohio. His knowledge of drainage, irrigation, sewage disposal, and soil and water conservation gained the respect of all.

He was the recipient of the John Deere Medal, Superior Service Award, USDA and Honorary Life Membership in the Land Improvement Contractor’s Association . . . affectionately called “Mr. Drainage” in Ohio.
