Richard Hummel

Richard Hummel, Canal Winchester, Ohio, is a renowned educator who has devoted 50 years to serving Ohio agriculture. As a leader and motivator, his dedication and willingness to help others is evident as he shaped careers in agriculture as a vocational agriculture teacher and a State Supervisor of vocational agricultural teachers for the Ohio Department of Education. Hummel also served as President of the Ohio Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association.

Recognized throughout the state for his contributions to education, Hummel was honored as one of the top 25 Vocational Agriculture teachers in the nation. Hummel has left his imprint on Ohio’s agriculture throughout the United States, as one of the founding fathers.
