Richard H. Kellogg

Richard H. “Dick” Kellogg, Franklin County, was a pioneer in the artificial cattle insemination industry and was instrumental in forming the Central Ohio Breeding Association (COBA) in 1946. He served as general manager of COBA until his retirement in June, 1977. While with COBA, he provided leadership for formation of Select Sires, Inc.. one of the world’s largest artificial insemination cooperatives.

During his lifelong dedication to the dairy industry, he found time to be actively involved in community, state and national activities. Since retirement from COBA, he has remained very active in the dairy industry in Ohio and across the Nation.
