Ralph Grimshaw

Ralph Grimshaw. Franklin County, has unselfishly dedicated 53 years of service to providing leadership to Ohio’s sheep industry. His limitless energy, pioneering spirit and time contributed significantly toward making Ohio’s sheep industry the largest cast of the Mississippi River.

Ralph was instrumental in providing the leadership to Ohio producers that resulted in a lamb and wool checkoff program being implemented in Ohio.

Ralph has given much of his time to the Ohio State Fair’s senior and youth exhibitors to help make the State Fair and the fair’s sheep department one of the best in the nation. He spent thirty-one years as an OSU Cooperative Extension Service Specialist and County Extension Agent. I-Ic is also well known as author of many publications, 4-H Club Sheep Project Books, and the Sheep Industry Handbook.
