Oscar Share
Oscar Share, Guernsey County, is the originator of feeder calf marketing associations and is known as “The Father of Feeder Cattle Marketing” in Ohio. He has helped initiate the original graded Ohio feeder calf sale and is also a founder and early leader of the Ohio Wool Growers Association. Oscar has been instrumental in forming youth development and leadership programs and has been state president of the Ohio Extension Agents Association and was honored with a National Distinguished Service award from the National Association of County Agriculture Agents.
He has significant community involvement not only on various boards and commissions but as a member of First United Methodist Church of Cambridge.
