Lawrence A. Kauffman

Lawrence A. Kauffman, Franklin County-outstanding teacher, counselor and widely recognized specialist in the sheep and wool industry. He was the first executive secretary of the Ohio Council of Co-ops, co-author of the National Wool Act and a founder of the American Sheep Producers Council.

A professor and chairman with the Animal Science Department of Ohio State University, his exemplary character gained him the respect and admiration of students and co-workers.
