Kenneth N. Probasco

Kenneth N. Probasco, Franklin County, has been instrumental in the growth of farm cooperatives and also in financial planning for agribusinessmen. A native Ohioan, Probasco has held leadership positions in numerous organizations including the Federal Farm Credit Board, the Central Bank for Cooperatives, the Federal Land Bank, Federal Intermediate Credit Bank and the Louisville Bank for Cooperatives, American Institute of Cooperation, International Energy Cooperative plus several Columbus area financial institutions.

He served as President of the Ohio Grain, Feed & Fertilizer Association and as the Executive Vice President of Landmark, Inc., from 1955-1976. During those 22 years at Landmark, the farmer cooperative increased its sales and marketing volume from over $69 million to nearly $454 million. Many of Landmark’s major physical improvements and capital purchases were directed by Probasco.
