George G. Greenleaf

George G. Greenleaf, Franklin County, continues to provide outstanding leadership for Ohio agriculture.  An Ohioan for 31 years, George gave untiring leadership to the Ohio Grain and Feed Association and the Ohio Fertilizer and Pesticide Association until 1984.  Since then, he has been a consultant for The Ohio State University’s College of Agriculture Development Office.  With his unusual power of persuasion, he has helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for support of the OSU LEAD program.

George’s dedication to education has been evident throughout his career.  He assisted in launching the agricultural technical programs at both Clark and Penta Technical Institutes as well as the comprehensive educational programs at OSU’s Agriculture Technical Institute.  His organizational skills have also favorably impacted businesses and associations, including the Ohio Agricultural Council, of which he served as the initial president.
