Edward H. Knight

Edward H. Knight, Logan County-engineer, attorney, surgeon, scientist, author, artist and engraver. He wrote and lectured on many subjects but his main interest was in the mechanical sciences farmer and mechanical inventor for the improvement of farming.

He was the author of the “American Mechanical Dictionary,” writer for Atlantic Monthly, Harper’s Weekly, the Scientific American and founder of the Official Gazette of the U. S. Patent Office.
