Benjamin Basil Brumley

Benjamin B. Brumley operated an extensive crop and livestock farm in Hancock County for more than 50 years. He helped organize the Producers livestock cooperatives at Cleveland and Pittsburgh in 1923, and the consolidated association in 1934.

He served as president of Producers Livestock Association from 1934 to 1953, was director and president of the National Livestock Producers Association, chairman of the Joint Live Stock Committee 1942-1946, director and member of the executive committee of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives. He was named an Ohio Master Farmer in 1930.
