John H. Dunlap

John Dunlap has had a lifelong interest in agriculture and conservation. Mr. Dunlap owns or manages 31 farms in the Scioto Valley. A dedicated conservationist with deep concern for environmental quality and man’s role in preserving the beauty and productivity of Ohio’s countryside, Mr. Dunlap has received many awards and citations.

Some of these awards and citations include: Ohio “Wildlife Conservationist of the Year” – 1966; National “Wildlife Conservationist of the Year” – 1967, presented by the National Wildlife Federation; Ohio Senate Resolution for Dauntless Efforts to Improve Agricultural Education and the Natural Environment of Ohio – 1973; and The Ohio State University Alumni Distinguished Citizenship Award – 1973.

Mr. Dunlap is a recognized community leader and he is involved in numerous organizations including Past Chairman, Board of Trustees, The Ohio State University; and Chairman, Board of Control, Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center plus many other boards and commissions.
